Refund and Returns Policy
1. Overview
All sales of original artwork are final. We carefully describe each piece and include photos to help you make an informed purchase. However, we offer limited exchanges for eligible returns as described below.
2. Eligibility for Return or Exchange
- Timeframe: Request an exchange within 5 days of delivery.
- Condition: The artwork must be returned in original condition, undamaged, and with original packaging and any certificates of authenticity.
- Not eligible: Custom commissions, digital downloads, and pieces damaged by the buyer after delivery.
3. How to Request a Return or Exchange
- Email leslie@lesliespannatelier.com within 5 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the delivered item, and reason for the request.
- We will respond within 3 business days with return instructions and an authorization number if approved.
4. Shipping & Costs
- The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or significantly not as described.
- We recommend insured, trackable shipping; we are not responsible for return shipments lost in transit.
- If we authorize a return due to seller error (damage in transit or misrepresentation), we will cover reasonable return shipping or provide a prepaid label.
5. Inspection & Exchange Process
- Returned items are inspected on receipt. If the artwork shows damage caused by the buyer or is missing original packaging/certificates, we may refuse the return or deduct a restoration/repairs fee.
- For approved exchanges, we will ship a replacement item (subject to availability) after the returned piece is received and inspected.
6. Refunds
- Refunds are not generally offered for original artwork; exchanges are preferred.
- If a refund is approved in exceptional cases, it will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection, minus any applicable restocking or shipping fees.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Items
- If your artwork arrives damaged or materially different from the listing, contact us within 5 days with photos. We will arrange a return, replacement, or refund at no cost to you.
8. Restocking & Other Fees
- A restocking fee (up to 15% of the purchase price) may apply for returns that are not due to seller error.
9. Title & Risk of Loss
- Title and risk pass to the buyer upon delivery. We package items carefully but cannot accept liability for loss or damage after delivery confirmation.
